  Lyrics
GOIN' ON HOME I got my suitcase packed, I'm walkin' out that door Not gonna look back at what's gone on before No more time to waste says the tickin' of the clock If I'm gonna run at all, I gotta learn to walk My nose is pointin' forward, eyes lookin' straight ahead Not hangin' 'round here no more, I'm walkin out instead Ah ha (Refrain) I'm goin' home to see my Mom and my Dad My brother and my sister, my uncle and my aunt Gonna do some singin' and some dancin' too 'Cause we'll be celebratin' that I'm finally over you Oh yeah They all told me when I left them just what they thought of you But would I listen, no way, it was what I had to do You told me that you loved me, said you'd show me the world I was happy then just to be your girl They saw me off on the bus and waved and said goodbye They wished me luck but they all knew that you would make my cry (Refrain) You told me that I was the one, for you there was no other Well that was then and this is now, got news for you brother My eyes are wide open, my heart is finally shut You'll never again get the chance to kick me in the butt You lied and you cheated, you were mean and you were cruel And then you had the nerve to tell me I was the fool, oh no Well this fool grew up today, she's walkin' out that door Not gonna look back at what's gone on before Her nose is pointin' forward, eyes lookin' straight Not hangin' 'round here no more, she's walkin' out instead (Refrain) Ah, ha, ha - Over You! Review:   Honest to goodness country song here. Happy sounding without sounding cheesy, good twangy backup and a voice that is honest and straightforward. This is the sound I grew up with - it is the genuine article.

Review:   Foot tappin', head swingin', good old party time country tune!
Twangy guitar, honky tonky piano and fabulous vocals by Anne herself!

Review:   Okay, I like this song because, unlike most other country tunes, Anne has figured out the solution to her problem and has done something about it. And she does it in her inimitable honky tonk style and finesse. You go, girl!
