  Lyrics
I’ve learned a hundred ways to grieve I’ve heard of things you won’t believe And when I’m done I’ll only leave But it isn’t what you think They want me in a new career They think I have a special fear But if I go I’ll disappear And it isn’t what you think No it isn’t what you think But who’ll be there to help me to prepare And lead me through the gate to the world So where’s my plane and limousine And where’s my cup of hot caffeine I’m on my way to meet The Queen But it isn’t what you think No it isn’t what you think But who’ll be there to help me to prepare And lead me through the gate to the world So who’ll be there to help me to prepare And lead me through the gate to the world I’ve studied law and politics I’ve eaten duck with gold chopsticks I’ve heard the truth from lunatics And it isn’t what you think No it isn’t what you think No it isn’t what you think Oh it isn’t what you think

  Full Description
I think this song is about a guy getting out of an asylum. The lyrics just sort of came to me after a strange conversation with a tree.

Review:   Jason Peri plays his guitar with the athourity of someone who has had it in his hands for a long time.
The title to this song is very apropriate as it proved to not be what I thought it would. It stradled that line bettwen POp and Rock and could cross either way. The lyrics where interesting and held my attention. I thought I was the only one who talked to trees LOL (See Lonely Man).
