It's a long story but I'll make it short. Over the past several months I've been in contact with a gentleman in Austrialia who is putting together a benefit CD for the East Timorese people. For those who aren't aware of the problem in East Timor, last year East Timor broke away from Indonesia and claimed its independence, of course Indonesia was not happey and sent troops over to the island. Needless to say the United Nations got involved and Austrialia and New Zealand were the lead nations sent to maintain the peace.This benefit aid is called KiwiAid/AussieAid 2000. The gentleman from Austrialia heard my song Short Little Dance Number last October on mp3c and loved it. He wanted to use it for the benefit CD. Over the months we have talked back and forth through emails and phone calls, and become very good friends. He has taking such a liking to my music that he wants to release a full CD this year with all my tunes. He is also working on a web site for me and several other projects that I can't talk about at this time. Anyways SLDN has been renamed to Freedom East Timor. Several mixes were done of the tune and vocals were provided by the New Zealand Army Band Choir, actually chants, "Freedom, Freedom, Freedom, Freedom East Timor Yeah!" Several mixes were done at his request. To be played on the radio, clubs, etc. The radio mix as he calls it, is basically Short Little Dance Number with the chants added.This is the Club mix. Enjoy

He has managed to club style music that you can hand to any DJ. He adds very distinct instruments to his mix as well as vocal tracks. In fact I am pretty illeterate in them. This piece has a real nice build to it though and real interesting layers of composistion. I can see a club full of dancers groving away to this and screaming out Freedom.
