Lyrics

WHERE IS KRIS KRISTOFFERSON? He came into my life like an old friend Singing his words of prose Sitting with me through lonely nights How many I don't know When the lights went out and the memories began I would listen to his songs His words helped me to ease the pain Of what was lost and gone (Refrain) Where is Kris Kristofferson? Where is my old friend? I miss him and I need him To talk to me again Kris I want to thank you For the kindness that you've shown You helped me beat my devils Gave me the strength to move on His poetic songs helped me through the night As I lay down my weary head I never could quite understand How he'd lived the life I'd lived A comet flashes through the sky Burning bright before it goes But the star called Kris Kristofferson Through the years will always glow (Refrain) Where is Kris Kristofferson? I long to hear his song I haven't heard his gentle voice For me it's far too long A comet flashes through the sky Burning bright before it goes But the star called Kris Kristofferson Through the years will always glow But the star called Kris Kristofferson Through the years will always glow (c) copyright 1997

Full Description

This is a quiet protest song in support of Kris Kristofferson who has been having trouble getting his music played on commercial radio. It is my personal tribute to a proliferic songwirter whose songs helped me make it through many lonely nights.

Review:

This is a delightfully sentimental song!
Anyone who's ever had a musical or literary mentor will understand.
Annes music is well sung and well played and has a fairly unique sound while still being faithfull to the genre.
