  Lyrics
When I was younger— no, sit and stay you know how I get this way when you’re standing beside my bed and everyone’s asleep or dead and I was young again here I go again here I go again would I blow all my chances to be young again? I should go out more that’s what they say I went walking yesterday in the garden just like they said and pulled my blanket on my head like I was young again in that room again in that room again full of rage and spite so hold me tight until I’m young again

  Full Description
This moody but energetic pop tune about an elderly uncle is one of our favorites. Stultified in the present and bitter about the past, the character in this song looks back with sham romanticism on a life of missed opportunities. Produced by Ernie Adzentoivich. Recorded at Mother West in New York City.
