  Lyrics
Despite what you may think i played no part in this scene i put my head in the sand i think you know what i mean despite what you have heard i didn't get here first i never ran the race i never showed my face despite what you may feel don't wanna make a deal i've heard this lies before so let's just keep it real in spite of your smile i know there'll be no afterglow i know the cold handshake so, let's just let it go hey, i'll think for the two of us since you're always wrong

Review:   Paisley Face manages to bring a fresh face to psychaedelic pop. "Always Wrong" is the sort of song XTC or perhaps even Peter Gabriel might have created if they were in their youth today.

Tight instrumentals highlight this track - the drums thwack and the bass punches, and the guitars shimmer and slice.

Review:   Take a dash of Peter Gabriel, latter day XTC and you have a good idea of Paisley Face. Beyond the comparisons you end up with the music and that's the area I've always appreciated about Paisley Face. Always Wrong rocks with a psychedelic groove that is instantly catchy. Although the comparisons to Gabriel are ineveitible there's a big difference, the vocals are less studied and more off the cuff. They have a genuine feel, something you would like to see live. Always wrong works so well because it makes no attempts to lure you into it's world, you experience it and you like it but this is as far from contrived as it gets and in the end that's what makes Always Wrong a great listen.
