Review:   Now *THIS* is my kind of Metal... full of attitude and energy, but with clearly understandable lyrics and melodic. "Thrive" is a vintage party song which invokes the audience to holler back "GO" in echo of the vocalist. Also, big fat chorus give the tune some character. No bridge, but rather a sudden surprise ending.

Good show.

  Lyrics
14 years and his daddy passed away He wants to cry, but the tears won't heal his pain He hears his father's voice strong inside his head Wondering if he might be better dead (pre-chourus): When life stops, ya gotta go! (shout)GO! GO! Don't you dare lay down and die! (shout) NO! NO! Raise your eyes right to the sky! (shout) YEAH! YEAH! With all your might you've gotta thrive! She sees the hunger in her child's eyes He left so suddenly, on him they did rely Every passing second, hope it fades away She doesn't know how they'll survive another day (pre-chorus) (chorus): Hold your head up high, and you'll survive The clouds will fade away and you will thrive Oh the sun will shine, then you'll be alive With all your might you've got to THRIVE! I left my home that day feeling broken down That era of my life was surely over now Then one day out of the blue, Oh, I got the call That told me all my dreams would come true after all (pre-chorus) (chorus)
