Thanks for posting your notice here.

All the artists here are real control freaks and hate Napster and most OMD's. They don't want to be submitted anywhere unless it meets their very stringent conditions of money upfront and 6 cents a download.

Well, maybe not all. dusty may try it if you have 6 cents a download.

Thanks again.

they can be control freaks on this site and just offer there music for streaming...Let this site put you on Ampcast and earn 6 cents a download, or other sites that pay money as well.

well they have a FREE plan and a PAID plan.

If you look at their Paid plan you will see that the services that are offered is well worth the $49.95/per year ($4.16 per month).

If you registered and submitted your music to 18 other sites, how much time will that take you? Then think to yourself how much is your time worth?

So either way, there is Free and their is Paid and the choice is left you the artist. You win both ways.

You may have misunderstood me, Gordon.

What I was asking about was upfront money for us. We don't want to pay anybody. We want people to pay us.

So, what have you got where we get paid?

Well to start stationMP3 can register and upload your music for you to sites that do pay you for your music.

In addition stationMP3 offers services that will help an artist get closer to if not reaching their goals of getting heard by people who can make a differnce for them, I.e. record labels (major and independent) as well as people who are looking to invest in the careers of musicians.

Let me ask you this, if artists only wanted to be paid and not have to pay, why would they be on Listensmart?

Honestly the days of great free services are numbered as you can see by many music sites going under.

A community of artists willing to pay for services that only help them and the revenue made from these services only goes back into further development to help the artist more will make for a great site.

To which we reply:

We're here because all income being generated will be split 50-50 with the artists once the site goes out of beta.

Plus they keep the fridge well stocked.

You see, we're all part of

Hmmm... so which one am I? And don't tell me I'm the one in pink... it's been a rough day.
Oh, and by the way - I'm not that easy. Besides the $.06 per download I also require daily feedings of cheese puffs and several women in cheerleader outfits to encourage me to eat the puffs. So there.

You're not in the picture dusty. That's the day you and I were over at AMP3.com trying to get our money, remember?

It's starting to come back to me. I remember not being in the picture, and I remember going over to AMP3.com... it's the "get our money" part I'm a little hazy on.

When is Listensmart.com coming out of Beta, they have been in beta for 1 year, and the climate for online music sites has only gone down.

I would love to work with Listensmart.com as a site we distribute artists to, to help you build a strong base of artists.

Well, we're talking with you. Trying to work something out.

listenSMART.com is in the advanced beta phase.
Everything is ready. We just need some more money. We're trying to find out if you have some.

But it seems like you are trying to find out if we have some.

Money that is.

All except for dusty. He wants cheese puffs. And a girl to feed him.

I found the girl (see photo).
Now if you got some cheese puffs we can sit down and do business.

I have to say I like that picture...Sign her up! New Latin Sensation

I am just curious what happened to the 1 million dollars that was raised by Listensmart.com initially.

Being based in Maryland as well, I am very familiar with Listensmart.com and we would definately be interested in working together.
