This just came acros the listenSMART.com news desk. Seems we have a new player in Napstertown. www.Copyright.net Run by some guy named, Pete, I think. He uses the name Tim here though. Whatever. Anyhow, according to this CNET article they are getting ready to kick every copy of "Ooby Dooby" off Napster. Can they do it? Or are they just living "In Dreams"? http://cnet.com/news/0-1005-200-4965168.html?tag=st.cn.1.lthd

Nope. I was wrong. Pete is not involved. Tim is the guy. Anyhow, check this out: ------------------
Well, looks like all of our Napster discussions are now over. The problem has been solved by www.copyright.net . Damn! [This message has been edited by KennyLee (edited 02-27-2001).] IP: Logged |

When asked for his comments on this situation, Mr. Orbison declined to answer on the grounds that he was still "really dead". ------------------ IP: Logged |

quote: Elvis ain't dead, he's still making money. Roy is in the same condition. Because Roy the man has passed away. His physical body turned to clay. But Roy Orbison, the business is doing better than ever. Getting ready to kick "Pretty Woman" and the "Candyman" off of Napster. Art is immortality, dusty. I thought you knew that. ------------------ IP: Logged |

Roy Orbison freaks me out. When will he learn that he scares some people who are watching his concerts by dying his hair? Men in their 70's (or however old he is) should not have black hair! ------------------ IP: Logged |

Hey! Elvis dyed his hair. Lots of people in show business dye their hair. And wear sunglasses. It's almost part of the uniform. Roy was a pro. ------------------ IP: Logged |

quote: Hmm - I wonder who the stagehand is who sits behind Roy and moves his mouth in sync to the lyrics is... Or do they have a professional ventriloquist doing the job, do you think? His hair still freaks me out, though. ------------------ IP: Logged |
