6 months later and we're still in BETA. Meaning...."they're still workin' on it." As far as the contract goes, the last discussion had a comment by MU's attorney that I liked. To wit: Set a certain amount of income required for "exclusivity". If an artist did not reach that level of income, all rights revert back to the artist. A few thousand dollars over 1 or 2 years was discussed. That way listensmart.com could build up a catalogue of high earners. And the low earners could go on if they were unhappy to something else. But, to be candid, the BETA has gone on so long that no one seems to really care anymore. No matter what the contract says. As Peter Green once wrote: "Oh Well". ------------------ IP: Logged |
