When all the shit was comin' down for the past 6 months at mp3.con what
did Tom have to say about it? What has he commented on regarding Listen Smart? Do any of you care? Do any of you know? Do any of you care?

Shaky, You say that you don't understand my beef with Tom A. If you read
carefully, it is obvious. Even if you fail to grasp it that does not
mean that this thread should be bannished. That is small minded
thinking.

The topic is relevant to music politics which most of the amateurs on
this board are neophytes in. Many artists allow themselves to be taken
advantage of because they don't understand music politics or music
business. To make matters worse, They don't want to understand these
things. they keep saying that it's "just about music". Bullshit!

It's way more than about "just music". I feel that Tom A. is a lap dog
to the Corporations that are reaming the majority of the musicians. He
is making his money, so he just plays the part of Mr. Nice Guy but never
takes a stand when the musicians are getting screwed. Now, is it sinking
in?

(The previous statements are opinions.)

Makes me wonder, you ever talk to Aragon? Or are you basing everything on what you catch on the boards? I've seen Tom express concerns on the MP3.com aabb, about the bb itself, pfp disclosure, and more. But, he has manners, is a polite guy (besides being a tremendously talented musician) and he probably edits himself, unlike some folks, ahem.

Maybe like myself, he does contact them about things, privately? I often contact Rod, Michael, Dave U by phone or email rather than publicly on the bb. About good stuff and bad. Or, maybe it's just not such a big part of Tom's life that he spends all his time bitching about web sites? Maybe Tom has a life!
