I am posting this here simply because the hamsters on the mp3c BB don't pay much attention to posts that don't say "I'll d/l your stuff for free" MY ARTIST ADMIN PAGE WAS HACKED BY SOMEONE IN WASHINGTON, DC - NAME, ADDRESS, PHONE#, AND SS# WERE ALL CHANGED - YOU NEED TO CHECK YOUR PAGE BEFORE MAY 31 WHEN THE CHECKS GO OUT FOR LAST QUARTER - OTHERWISE YOU MAY NOT GET ONE!!!!! man, the feeling I got when I saw that, you have no idea (unless you've been hacked...) that $300 that I'm getting from them at the end of the month is a sum I'm depending on (finances are really rough right now) - and to have that jeopardized by some smartass fills me with rage like I have not felt in a long time... my only regret is that I didn't take down the info so I could sue and/or have the bastards arrested... funny thing is - I only went to my admin to upload some blank mp3's to replace my song catalog on the site... damn, if I hadn't done it... ------------------ IP: Logged |

I dunno, Weap - but here's my problem: the e-mail addy that I used to originally open the account is no longer in existence so I've got this problem, now - I can't change my login password - because they e-mail you a link to do that with... that sucks...but at the same time it illustrates the need for very complex passwords that you tell absolutely NO ONE!!!
in the words...mix upper and lower case and use numbers too...
