My default here is set to "last 10 days" - it shows 4 pages

My default at mp3c is set to "last day" - it shows 8

and most of those are garbage anyway...

Damn, And I though you were gonna say it's because Phil Frazier is here. OK, I know you favor Hatchet Man.

The interesting thing about what you just pointed out is that mp3.com has 65,000 artists. Listensmart.com has around 400 registered members.

Yet mp3.com seems to have only about twice as much BB activity.

What does this mean?

Kenny, I noticed that as well. It prolly has somthing to do with the BB being down so much of the time, which I'm suspecting is not technical. I feel that mp3.con is purposely making it do down to discourage all but the real determined posters. Also, I have been in contacted by quite a few mp3.con Artists that ask about my services who never post on any of mp3.con's BBs. This astounded me: There are Artists that never heard of the mp3.con loss of the lawsuit or the suit at all.

I was wondering about how people get my IM addy. I didn't realize until today when I went to egroups that I am on 17 egroup mailing lists.

I have decided not to post on mp3.con for at least a week. It's a hard habit to break. I just love to piss them off. I quit for three weeks once.HaHa When I went back a whole lot of people didn't know who I am at all.

MA,

At least the flames here aren't as bad as the ones over at MP3.com.

While I don't know enough about the business to contribute, I see actual discussion going on here. Sure, we all disagree, but at least I'm learning something from reading the arguments. There's, well, hardly any petty, insulting putdowns that have taken over MP3.com as of late.

Taken over? What are you talkin about, that place has been like that since about 2 months after it opened.

It is a rat-infested crap-hole, because they let it get that way immediately.

actually - if you look at my post again, you'll see that there is 100 times more activity at the mp3c BB than here (remember the days prune?)

but I don't care why - I just appreciate the ability to look at posts and consider them over a significant time period without having to scratch them up from the dark depths of page 12

actually, the mp3c board has a pretty low page count lately - I've seen it as high as 22 pages on a 1 day prune...
