Good morning, all! I've noticed something recently that I felt I should bring to the attention of everyone here at ListenSmart... More people are coming here from other sites daily... Some of those people have "distinguished" themselves on those boards as being flamers, spammers, or just plain offensive. However... Here at ListenSmart, they have (for the most part) been healthy contributors to the community, and have treated others with a fair amount of respect. I have also witnessed some preportedly "nice" people carrying-over grudges and prejudices from other boards, and taking an immediate knee-jerk stance against those they recognize as being an "offender" on other boards. I call on everyone to clean the slate and offer amnesty to those wanting to make a clean start here. I, for one, have said and done things in the past that I cannot un-say or undo... And I wish I could. Hey, if somebody's a moron, then they are always going to be a moron... but at least give everyone a chance to prove themselves here before passing judgement. ------------------ IP: Logged |

I'll support that. Listensmart should be the place where you can start over, with a clean slate. Sanctuary! ------------------ IP: Logged |

Gee, Jonathan, Now you want me to remember whether someone's been an A-hole here or just somewhere else? Just kidding. I support the idea too. Dr O ------------------ IP: Logged |
