you willingly move inflammatory threads to the inferno - could you also do us the kind favor of moving topics only relevant to specific groups of people to the forum under which those topics fall?

(specifically - mp3.com discussions to the mp3.com forum)

those of us who are sick of seeing crap about mp3.scum all over this forum would be greatly appreciative...

thanks

Ya know what, that is the most sensible thing said all day. Can we move the stuff there? Should we move the stuff there?

The fact that the topic has arisen here indicates that a great many people are inflamed about it.

moving mp3.com related threads to the mp3.com LA forum sounds good.

Davey - this is about relevancy - there's a board for damned near everything around here - why can't we make use of them?

When I first showed up here, there was a decent variety of posts on the artist area board - I was able to go over to the mp3c board and talked about relevant stuff there - same with the amp3c board and the IUMA board - why do we need to clutter the main board with BS about other sites? I haven't heard a word about this one in several days - everyone's caught up in the mp3c bullshit and whatever old Hatch is stirring up - I'm just asking for some relevancy...

Hey Everyone:

I understand what you are saying. However, who am I decide which topics go where? What if the topic is about OMD's in general, where does that go? Or what if its about comparing 2 or 3 different OMD's, whos' forum should it go under?

We have taken a pretty non-subjective stand point about the posts, and what belongs where. It would be unfair, on our part, to subjectively move posts based on where we think they should be.

I hope that clarifies the issue. If you dont want a post to jumble up everything else, then ignore it. Eventually it will scroll off, that the best advice I can give you right now. Let me know what you think.

all I'm talking about is the relentless assaults of topics that show up about a particular site every time that site does something controversial - i.e. - the latest round of mp3c topics about (unique to mp3c) Payback for playback issues - this is a very cut-and-dried single OMD topic - and I talk about it enough on the mp3c BB - if I wanted to discuss it over here, I'd hit the mp3c forum - I don't want to see it on the top of every BB I look at...

I'm not trying to be picky - what I'm talking about is the stuff that is obviously related strictly to one site's news and policy...

I come to this board to talk about LS and occasional some interesting conversation about other music issues...
