Hi Folks,

I wanted take a moment to let everyone know what's going on with the publishing contract/ “revenue sharing” and also where we stand with CD sales.

Publishing Contract/Revenue Sharing:

In short, the publishing contract is done. However, we are in the final stages of completing several key components necessary for the system to function including publishing administration, capital funding, hiring key staffers, and advanced download tracking functionality. It is critical that we complete these components so that we may be an effective music publisher.

We plan on releasing the publishing contract for your viewing pleasure no later than the 19th of May (yes, finally, a date for those of you looking for one).

We will also be simultaneously posting an FAQ that should answer most, if not all, of your immediate questions and/or concerns. Any issues that are not addressed in the FAQ will be open for discussion during a review period for the contract. In addition, any revisions to the publishing contract that come from this review period will also be implemented into the publishing contracts prior to its execution. The end date for the review period will be determined by the amount of discussion and modification needed to create a final draft.

CD Production:

We have already tested the implementation of the automated CD burning and printing process. This process will allow our artists to customize the look of their CD by way of uploading graphics that would take the place of the front cover, inside, and back cover of the booklet that accompanies the CD. We will only take the back cover of the CD to add information such as tracks, credits, etc. The issue we are currently working on is the fulfillment of these orders. We are building an inventory/fulllfillment infrastructure from scratch, and that is where our efforts are currently placed. If anyone has questions regarding specifics, let me know, and I will do my best to answer them.

Please try to remember that we are building an entire company – and a revolutionary one at that – from the ground up, not just a website. Thus, although it has taken additional time here in the beginning, it has genuinely been necessary for us to be able to provide the level of support and service you will expect.

I thank you all for your input, patience, and continued involvement.

Best regards,

Sean

I take this to mean that the CD program will be ready by at least the second week of June?

Maybe a bit optimistic but I feel that the Publishing contract issues can be resolved within 10 days. I have studied the initial contract of LS closely and feel I have a clear understanding of that. The Publishing Contract should not be that difficult to comprehend. If LS is not unreasonable and open to negotiate, I feel that a satsfactory compromise will be possible.

Yeah! Thanks for the update. Let's see those CDs. Any idea when that will be ready? How many pages in the booklet?

Looking forward to more info.

The CD booklet will be one page, that is folded so its actually 4 pages (make sense?).

Page 1) Cover
Page 2) Inside Cover
Page 3) Inside Back
Page 4) Back

Its actually just one sheet of pager, folded in half so that you get basically 4 pages.
