At the Owensboro BBQ Festival! On May 12 and May 13.

http://www.bbqfest.com/overview/entertainment.htm

Or if you don't want to go to the page here's a shot of me performing there last year.

The big bearded guy on guitar getting ready to lay down the blues is my buddy Hillbilly Jim of the WWF. The harp player is Mike Brown, brother of country singer Marty Brown.

HBJim is sales manager for WWF Home Video when not playing the blues with Kenny Lee.
Used to wrestle Hulk Hogan, et al in the 80s.

See him interview the stars of the WWF online by clicking on this pic. Buy all the WWF Home Videos.

You see when Kenny Lee plays you get the blues AND you can get body slammed too!
A truly unique experience.

Doesn't everybody want to be part of it?

And the FOOD! Owensboro, KY claims to be the BBQ capital of the world. About 70,000 people show up each year. The Kenny Lee Concert on Saturday is FREE!

Unfortunately, they charge $40 for the show on Friday (You get all the BBQ you can eat and all the Beer you can drink, though) 'Cause FRIDAY is the MUTTON GLUTTON!!

Kenny Lee and the BBQ Blues Band fans from all over the world come to these two shows!
Did I mention that Hillbilly Jim (WWF Wrestling legend) will be on the show again this year?
http://woof3.wwf.com/home/hillbilly/index.html

Blues, BBQ and BEER! Centrally located in the USA!

So who's coming to the show?

Kenny -- I'd love to come, but distance doesn't allow me to.

BTW, I know some folks in Austin who would like to dispute yore claim that anywhere outside of Texas is the BBQ capital of the world. I guess our only recourse now will be to choose neutral ground and have gigantic BBQ & Blues competition to settle the score once and fer all!

Bill, I thought I pointed this out, but Hillbilly Jim will be playing with me at any competition you want to have. Have you ever been body slammed Bill?

And before you start trying to drag Stone Cold Steve Austin into it, you need to know that HBJ made Stone Cold a deputy sheriff in Kentucky when Steve visited a while back.

But we all love Texas. Cause my family lives in Beaumont.

Come on up to Owensboro, Bill. Check out some Moonlite BBQ and play some blues. Whaddayasay?

Hmmm.... Kentucky or Minnesota.... ya know, Big Sky is from Minnesota -- I wonder if they like BBQ and if they know any blues tunes? <heh heh>

Lemme git this straight... y'all BBQ sheep?

Oh well, anyone who has family in Beaumont can't be all bad. I'd love to come to the festival, but I think it would take a miracle on Wall St. at this point to pay for the trip. <sigh> Eat some chicken for me!

I believe that they BBQ just about any meat there is Bill. BBQ mutton is mighty fine.
BBQ venison is mighty good too.

Now, you do bring up a point that some people aren't into meat at all. But if there is a vegetarian BBQ entree I ain't seen it yet.

Since you responded with an , I'd say that must be a Texas thang.

Wish you and everybody else could come to the show May 12 and 13. Guaranteed good time.

Sorry to hear about your portfolio. You must have had a lot of internet stocks.
I think mp3.com is down from 105 to about 9 right now. That deserves an

Nope, mostly fiber-optics and telecom... I'm actually doing OK, but not good enough to justify a ticket from California to Kentucky for a weekend of outrageous fun. <sigh>

FWIW, I like mutton, I've just never tried it barbequed before.

You wouldn't be a wrestling fan, would you dusty?

If so, did you also know that Hillbilly Jim has two GOLD RECORDS for his recording of "Don't Go Messin' With A Country Boy",
produced by Rick Derringer?

Sorry I didn't respond earlier, Kenny, but it's been a hectic week. Wrestling fan? I'm much too cool to know anything about that stuff. Wouldn't have a clue who Mick Foley, Ric Flair, Roddy Piper, Hillbilly Jim or Koko B. Ware are
Two gold records? Ouch! I can't even sell one CD. That hurts.
(actually, I've always been tempted to try one of the local federations as a heel manager. A country singer gone bad.)
