Hi all, I am going to be studying this site real carefully. So far, the one thing that strikes me as positive is that the CEO actually responds to the Artists. That is so different than Mike R, who in my recollection never mingled with the Artists on the board. Accountability, keeping promises and listening to the Artists is paramount. Also, not instituting changes without consulting the very people that those affect is important.

I was at mp3.c for a year and become real upset at a lot of things, as some of you may know.

What a lot of Artists never understood because they never took the time to read my bio is that I too am an Artist. I have chosen not to be on the Net as an Artist. I have my reasons. I represented some top Artists on mp3.c but parted ways with them over ironcilable differences in philosophy.

Since this is a different territory, I am willing to let by gones be and start fresh.

This is just the honeymoon.HeHe There are a few people who I won't name that have not arrived yet that could start flames, post obnoxious hype or lame photos. Let's hope they either stay away or behave themselves.

tip: A sure way to avoid flame wars is not to respond to the flamers. Easier said than done though.Ha

Hey Tom, Congrats! ListenSmart & the Artists are lucky to have you on board. You know your stuff and how to relate to people. After amp3 & mp3, I know that you have learned what you need to progress. This site should be more than satisfactory.HeHe Can Big Sky be far behind in showing up? HaHa BTW, I am once again representing Sutrobath; this time as their Shopping Agent.

Just to give Michael credit, he used to respond to the artists a lot more than he does today. His company is about 100x larger than it was, so his position has changed a lot.

He's still pretty accessible though. I email him sometimes and he always responds.

Hoop comes riding in on his white horse. Every site I go to, Hoop arrives a few days later. Stalking is now a felony criminal offense. I am considering filing a retraining order.

Thanks Phil....Good to see you here!!

I'm glad Sean has asked me to be part of the team here and he has been very prompt and courteous these last 3 or 4 months to my zillion questions and just my general $.02 suggestions.
As incredibly busy as he is, he still finds the time somehow
Tom

I am Buce and I have a big presence on the Artist Area BB on MP3c. I will probably have the same status here by the end of the week.
