From :

• Fallbrook

Musical Style :

• My debut album of exciting New Age Fusion instrumental music, "Soul Storm", is the musical marriage of new age, classical, and rock music into a dynamic and vibrant new musical form. I have combined beautiful, haunting, interweaving melodies with powerful and dynamic rhythms in a compositional style that is unique and expressive.

Brief Description :

• Dean Douglas (ASCAP): composer, arranger, musician, engineer, producer, lyricist

Artist History :

• My musical training began at the age of eleven when my parents bought me my first classical guitar, and followed with several years of lessons. It continued into college, where I musically matriculated for about two years. Throughout the following years, I have actively pursued my love of music, culminating with the composition and production of my debut album of exciting New Age Fusion instrumental music, "SOUL STORM".

Press Reviews

Michael Arbuthnot, Director of A & R for GLOBAL PACIFIC RECORDS, found my compositions to be "unique and expressive". Brannon Wilson, Director of A & R for REAL MUSIC, said that he "enjoyed" listening to my CD, and stated that both my "composition and production are very good". LISTEN.com says: "Rock inflected new age instrumentals move through ballad like chord progressions and simple, triumphant melodies. The sweeping, dreamy pieces tap into some of the classic adventure-rock cliches".
