Artist Info

From :

• San Francisco

Musical Style :

• One reviewer suggested that Holy Zoo is what you would get if you crossed 'Alice in Chains' with 'Steely Dan'. It's an odd combination, but we feel it hits the proverbial nail on the head. Holy Zoo cut it's teeth listening to Van Halen, Prince, Led Zeppelin, Frank Zappa, and The Beatles.

Musical Influences :

• Steely Dan, The Beatles, Frank Zappa, Mike Patton, Mr. Bungle, Meat Beat Manifesto, Prince, Stevie Ray Vaughn, Jellyfish, Pink Floyd, Led Zeppelin, Van Halen

Brief Description :

• Holy Zoo is an alternative rock band from San Francisco, California. Together for 8 years, they'll be putting out their first indie label cd this summer.
