• Alan Nu and Linc started playing together when they were both hired to fill out a touring live act. They performed together in several bands and as session players over the next few years. After an attempt to see their ideas flourish in a larger group, they started Gravity Tree in 1991, with the idea of sounding like a four piece while remaining a duo.
