  Artist Info
From :
• Baltimore
Musical Style :
• The sound has moved from reggae to a more hard edged sound. Like Jamaician heavy metal with lots of groove and a whole new sound that has been compared to Sublime, the Police the Clash. Not so much because they sound like these artists, but more because they are down with who they were.
Musical Influences :
• Miles davis, Stevie Ray Vaughn, Wagnor, The Beatles, The Stones, Iggy Pop, David Bowie, David Byrne, ACDC, Ozzy!!!, Lou Reed, Gary Numan, The Who, U2, Split Endz, Yellowman, Michigan and Smilie, Bob marley, Peter Tosh, Black Uruhu, And evey other artist who has moved us through the years.
Brief Description :
• Cloluring Lesson is an eclectic band whose influences range from the outrageous to the sublime. If John Lennon had Bob Marley for an influence, with some americana thrown in that might come close.
Artist History :
• The band formed 7 years ago as a reggae band. Doing some originals but also alot of the standard reggae fare. They soon fired the drummer moved the singer to drums (as he was quite capable) and moved to the next level. After replaceing the singer they were signed to the Jamacian label Del-geo as "Splendor". Soos reinventing thwmselvesd as Colouring Lesson.
