| | From : | | • Australia | | Musical Style : | | • Mostly guitar oriented Rock/Pop; some funky tendencies. | | Musical Influences : | | • Just about eveything. | | Brief Description : | | • Shamlessly commercial, fm-radio friendly, alt-pop-rock band. See History or visit our website at www.rainmaker505.com for more information. | | Artist History : | | • Formed in Melbourne, Australia in 1997, Rainmaker has since established a strong following on the Melbourne live music scene. Following the departure in late 1998 of their keyboard player (who left for a career in pizza delivery) and drummer (who imploded under the weight of his own self pity) the band regrouped and recorded their first cd - "Perfect Fascination". This was released to good Australian sales, great reviews courtesy of local press and internet sites amp3reviews.com/mp3critic.com |
