  Artist Info
From :
• Great Britain and Northern Ireland
Musical Style :
• Celtic/Dance crossover is the staple fare, with occasional forays into Bluegrass and other roots styles.
Musical Influences :
• The Grid, Chieftains, Boys of the Lough, Chuck Fleming, Martin Matthews, Fat Boy Slim, Rednex, Lester Flatt and Earl Scruggs, Bob Black
Brief Description :
• A foot-tapping blend of traditional Celtic tunes and modern dance rhythms
Artist History :
• Mark Kelly, the creator of Jigz, is a former member of the Whisky Priests, the one and only Geordie punk folk outfit (and going from strength to strength without him). In his more mellow moments he does a little singer/songwriting and tries to adapt Neil Young's complete back catalogue for performance on the banjo.
